Word from the Mouth: I Don't Give a Duck! edition

Word from the Mouth: I Don't Give a Duck! edition

We have passed the midway point of the season and its time to start thinking about the playoffs and what it will take to get there.

I’m flabbergasted that no one has come up with a streaming network for College football. With the NFL you can stream anywhere and that’s not an issue, my problem is not being able to come home Saturday night after football, get my Chinese food, and watch a boat load of games in quick succession. I know Jon downloads them and watches them commercial free, but I want to be able to flip back and forth if that makes sense (ed’s note: if there was a streaming service where you could easily flip between games, I would definitely get that).

All weekend people were asking where Sunshine was and why she wasn’t there and I told them to look up in the sky cause there she was all weekend long. If you asked me on Monday where she was, the answer would be taking a nap behind all those soft fluffy clouds so she can shine bright next weekend (ed’s note: listen, I like hallucinogens as much as the next guy, but Kevin, you gotta tone it down).

Settle down everyone, it’s the last weekend of September, so there is a chance of rain. If it does don’t blame me, I’m not a meteorologist. Plus, it’s only Monday when I wrote this and it can change before then.

Recap

D1

There was only 1 game this week and I couldn’t catch it, so maybe Terry or Willie did and will talk about it on the Podcast this weekend.

D2

Phoenix vs Nice TDs (25-33)

The QB change that I mentioned a few weeks back was huge in this game. Guillaume was able to pick us apart with the intermediate routes. Andrew did what he does and scored 1 TD and had over 100 yards, but the biggest impact player had to be Brian scoring 2 TDs and making 1 heck of a catch for one of them. On defense, Nice TDs didn’t do anything special, no sacks, no picks, they just made every tackle and limited the YAC. Phoenix needed a few things to go their way to walk away with the W. In the first half on fourth down Andrew knocked a pass out of bounds that would have given us the first down. On defense we missed a sack that would have been a safety and given us the ball back and instead Nice TDS scored a few plays later. Phoenix needed to attack the middle of the field in the intermediate range more and this would have opened up the underneath, but it’s too late for that now. The difference in the game was that Nice TDs double dipped and Phoenix couldn’t stop them.

D3

Tropic Thunder vs Top Shooters (13-34)

With how this Tropic Thunder team is built this should have been a cake walk for them. They had 2 jobs to do on defense, take away the deep ball and don’t let Marvin run. Well, they took take the deep pass away, but only because of drops and keeping 3 players back and that let Marvin run 9 times for 50 yards and 1 TD. Nigel went off once again this week with 3 TDs on 4 catches, but only had 29 yards receiving. Justin struggled to get things going early and by the time he did they were down and out of the game. Justin couldn’t avoid the rusher and make things happen with his legs as he was sacked four times, three of them by Sam and once by Deven. Tropic Thunder came in hot and looked unstoppable and after the seeing how they played this game, I wouldn’t think they were one of the top teams.

Blitzing Bastards vs Iron Wolves (6-28)

The one player that stood out most to me from this game was Lucas. If you know Lucas you know he is a nice guy, but his hands are sus at best. Well in this game his hands were like rat traps catching everything that hit them. Lucas also showed he has a few moves up his sleeves when he made multiple defenders miss on his 29-yard TD catch and run. Jon did what he does and spreads the ball around to everyone not named Carlos who only had 1 catch for 2 yards and 1 TD. Carlos you should be telling Jon he has to get you a catch per sack and if that were the case you would have had 3 catches and at least 1 TD if not more. Blitzing Bastards have a few good players, but they lack discipline and leadership and I know that’s what bothers Kris. They have talent on this team, but they won’t win games if they don’t catch the ball. Sanketh needs to do a better job of looking for the open players, too many times he would force a ball when he had another player wide open. This will come with experience.

D4

Sour Peeps vs Hawks (0-37)

Simon Torres is the best player for Sour Peeps, but Geneviéve Gaudet gives them a better chance at winning when playing QB. Sour Peeps played musical chairs at QB in the first half until settling on Geneviéve. Sour Peeps never challenged Hawks and were never in a position to score. Thomas did a good job of getting the ball out of his hands early and often finding his players wide open. The one take away from this game is Thomas should not be trying to throw 40-yard bombs late in the game because you want to get reps in and practice. I won’t go into many details since the Hawks roster was much stronger than Sour Peeps.

D5

Phoenix vs Jungle Squad (20-7)

What was labeled as the game of the week was very disappointing. This was supposed to be the top 2 teams in the division and it didn’t play out that way. Jungle was missing a few key players, and you could see Gold didn’t have his trusty center to rely on to keep the chains moving. Jungle should be very glad Elana was there as she was their one and only stud catching 5 balls for 64 yards along with all 7 of her teams’ points, plus she added 3 sacks on defense. When you rely on the short game like Gold did in this game, you need to be accurate and your players need to catch the ball and that didn’t happen. Phoenix took control of the game with long drives, and it helped that they scored on 3 of their first 4 drives. With Phoenix up 20 Jungle Squad tried really hard to make it a game when they picked off back-to-back passes from Kevin midway through the second half. Had they been able to score earlier in the game it would have made it interesting, but they were only able to score off the second one and at that point Phoenix played the time game and ate it up. The hardest part about playing Phoenix will be how do you prevent Sparky from getting into the endzone for a fourth game in a row.

That’s all I have folks. I know you’ll need more MFL news, so look for Terry and Willie on MFL Total Access on Wednesday.

Studs & Duds

It’s time to see who balled the duck (ed’s note: I’m tired) out and who should have stayed the duck home. I get people asking me all the time why they were picked as my Stud and there can be a few reasons why. I base my picks off stats and when 2 players are close, I go look and see when they made these plays. For example, a pick at the end of the half of a blowout doesn’t do it for me. Like, big deal, you had a meaningless pick. Now to see who got what.

Studs

D1

- Jérémi Riendeau-Demers 9 catches 118 yards, 3 TDs and made 4 tackles, 1 sack on defense.

D2

- Jean-Sebastien St-Arneault 9 tackles 6 of those being sacks in 1 game.

D3

- Simon Valiquette 7 TD passes 0 picks and a win over Kris Hope which is all that really mattered in this game at least for Simon, Ben, and Nico.

D4

- Albert Nguyen 25 of 29 for 204 yards with 5 TDs and 1 pick.

D5

- Louis François Francoeur Décarie had 3 picks scored on 1 of them and added a TD on offense as well.

Women’s

- Branda Léonard throwing 5 TDs, 136 yards and ran 4 times for 28 yards.

Duds

D1

- Alexandre Szalipszki 2 catches 18 yards and 1 tackle on defense. Some pretty sad numbers for someone who talks about being a stud all the time.

D2

- Stephen Harripersaud for throwing 3 picks against Nice TDs, when I threw 0.

D3

- Tropic Thunder for a bunch of questionable decision-making choices, getting blown out and going 0-2 on the weekend after winning 13 or 14 games in a row.

D4

- Sorry for doing this Pascal Risler, but you threw 7 picks. It’s not all on you, it’s also on Brian and Tom for not showing up and putting you in that position.

D5

- Ryan Wong for his 7 picks throwing.

Women’s

- Kayla Gauthier throwing 3 picks and only 64 yards on 16 completions.

That’s who I got this week and just remember you too can see your name up here if you ball out, fizzle out, or give me a bribe. If you made my list congratulations, and if you didn’t better luck next time.

Final Thoughts

I know it's way too early to tell, but is Caleb Williams a bust yet or is Chicago the problem? For me he is a bust and shouldn't have been the number 1 pick. Justin Fields is better and you could have loaded up with weapons for him to succeed.

I think I'm over the NFL. The games are boring and slow, but I need to get my fix and miss most of the college games on Saturday which are so much better. I mean just look at how the fans are into the games. When was the last time you saw that in the NFL? It's not called the no fun league for no reason.

I'm out, but before I let you go, remember that on Saturday when out on the field you are playing a game, so go have fun, don't take it too seriously, and try not to kill anyone. See you out there!

Word from the Mouth: Blatant Sexism! edition

Word from the Mouth: Blatant Sexism! edition

Hello and welcome back everyone, hope you enjoyed last week. It was freaking beautiful out there. I just wonder how many more weeks of great weather we will get before it turns cold and we have to play in weather like the previous 2 weeks.

Some of you may have noticed that I look a little more distinguished than normal and that's because I'm getting older and I'm about to rotate around the sun once again and needed to get glasses.

As an athlete growing up people who wore glasses were nerds (ed’s note: still are!) and it looks like I am joining that click (ed’s note: sic). I just need the brain to go with being a nerd as after 12 concussion the brain is like mush. Yes, I already know 12 is a lot but one thing for sure is that I've never thrown up gang signs after getting knocked out like Tua.

Does the league allow Tua to keep playing or force him out? The NFL talks a big game when it comes to player safety, but that's all talk.

If you look back at the game played in Brazil, the field conditions were subpar at best, but they played the game. If this was a FIFA soccer game, they aren't playing that game. The NFL talks a big game about safety, but bottom line all they care about is the cash flow.

I want to say I feel for all you fantasy owners that picked Christian McCaffrey number 1 and now have to sit and watch their fantasy season go down the drain with him being put on IR. Should MFL allow a team to put players on IR for a set number of games where you are able to replace that one person with a player of equal cap numbers or lower. I know it's not going to happen, but with most of us getting older and more fragile, some teams might be able to use this and it would help them out.

Recap

D1

I wasn't able to catch any of the D1 games this week, so I'll leave it to Terry and Will to talk about on the podcast.

D2

Average Joe's vs RawSauce (31-14)

This RawSauce team was down players and needs subs to fill out their roster and not make it a forfeit, but with their top 2 players out they didn't have much of a chance or at least shouldn't have. Ludovic struggled most of the game with the elite defense he was facing. James picked him off twice and Devin and Anthony both had 1 sack. Jason slung the ball around getting everyone touches. I would have liked to see James get a few more touches on offense, but he limited his time on that side of the ball. One player that will get overlooked on this team is Anthony. He is a solid defender and a big target that should be a huge redzone target. Average Joe's are a very good team that will go far as long as they stay as a team and don't bicker with each other.

D3

I missed all of D3 this week, but I was really hoping to catch the Ducks vs Turf Ninjas game which would have been my game of the week. We also had the return of Marvin after weeks away with a hip injury.

D4

Slot Machines vs Sour Peeps (32-8)

This Slot Machines team is really good and are loaded all over the place. Giovanni is a top 3 QB in the division and his main target Eric has to be a top 5 target, but those aren't the only 2 players they have. This week the player that took over this game was William Lalumiere who scored 2 TDs and had 2 sacks. Karmina, Zoe, and Marie-eve might get overlooked, but all three of these ladies can play. Marie-eve is a very dependable snapper with capable hands. Karmina normally lines up as rusher and she gets after whoever is QB and then we have Zoe who doesn't miss many tackles. This Sour Peeps team is struggling because they have a new QB in Simon who is learning and struggles against the better teams. Slot Machines were in complete control of this game right from the get-go and the only time that they might have been in a worry was when Sour Peeps opened up the second half with a score making it 20-8. After that Giovanni took 3 plays to get those points back when he connected with Eric from 27 yards out. After that score you could see the air being deflated from Sour Peeps.

Action Squad vs Nothing but D (19-15)

I'm very surprised how this game turned out. Nothing But D seems to be struggling with the move up to D4. This team was scoring at will last season and got stops left, right, and center, but now this season they are struggling to keep drives going. Alec, if you want to win you need to get your best player Marcel more touches, 1 catch for 4 yards isn't going to cut it. On the Action Squad side Gold needs to work on his ball placement, far too many drops because players are stretched out just to get their hands on the ball. Gold, I don't want to tell you what to do or how to run your offense, but Big Sherm was open all game long and not just a little, like wide open. I think Nothing but D got lucky that there were so many drops from Action Squad because the score would have been worse. With just over 2 minutes left, Yavar scored to put Action Squad up 2 scores and let them sit back and force Nothing But D to use the clock with nothing big, essentially ending the game, but Jon scored from 10 yards out as clock expired making the game seem closer than it was.

D5

Phoenix vs Budget Cats (34-6)

This game started out with Phoenix getting a stop on downs then scoring a few plays later. After this score Budget Cats started playing defense and managed to get 3 picks and 2 sacks in the game with Matthew Newell leading the way for them with 2 picks and he also got their only points of the game by returning 1 of his 2 picks for a score. On the Phoenix side of things Yann was dependable not dropping any balls and kept the chains moving, Gabriel all he did was score 2 TDs and get a pick and we'll Ilias who is better known as a good rusher is playing safety this season and had 2 picks. Phoenix once they got rolling were too much for Budget Cats to handle and even with them getting help from the sideline the lack experience was too much for them to overcome.

Phoenix vs Bear Hood (44-8)

Bear Hood just came off a huge win against 28-3 and were feeling like they were king of the world, then this game began and the score tells it all. Phoenix walked all over them using their secret weapon to do so. Our secret weapon was Nico from 28-3 who had the inside scoop. Offensively Bear Hood went with Emilio at QB, and it was an upgrade over what they had before, but he needs to be more consistent. There were numerous times where balls were dropped or he just had the ball get away from him. I knew Bear Hood was going to be disorganized on defense, but I didn't think that it would show from play 1 when Nico caught a 1-yard hook as the slot and ran through the defense for 40 yards. Pierre-Luc dominated on the offensive side of the ball, scoring 2 TDs on his 7 catches and 63 yards. Ilias picked off another 2 passes on defense scoring on 1 of them. I want to apologize to Bear Hood for calling the timeout before half on fourth down, it's just a force of habit, plus I never know the score since I never ask about it. (ed’s note: yet you call people out for running up the score. Maybe they just don’t know the score either.)

Women's

Sorry ladies, I missed the 1 game in the division this weekend, but I'll be back watching your games in no time and now with my glasses I'll be able to see everything happening.

That's all I have for reviews this week if you need more look out for MFL Total access when it comes out on Wednesday.

Studs & Duds

I'm on vacation and in a bit of a time crunch so I'm going to get straight to it and tell you who balled out this week and should have stayed home.

Studs

D1

- Justin White scored 4 Total TDs 3 as a receiver and 1 on defense.

D2

- Jason Edwards scored 2 TDs on his 4 catches totaling 49 yards, plus 1 tackle on defense.

D3

- Kayla Gauthier 6 catches 95 yards and 2 TDs.

D4

- Alec De Lafontaine-Jovani for his game 3 performance. He went 24 of 27 for 272 yards 8 TDs and ran 6 times for 47 yards.

D5

- William Shlien for handling the scenario like a boss. Last week they got whooped and this week when he started to throw picks, and the team started to bicker he stepped up and took control and lead his team to their first victory. Along the way will went 22 of 29 for 134 yards and 3 TDs. He also added 57 yards and a TD on the ground along with a pick on defense.

Women's

- Viviane Plourde 3 TD passe, 2 TDs catching and 1 on the ground.

Duds

D1

- PO threw 5 picks.

D2

- RawSauce for being a big roster and still needing subs and this landing to struggling with constancy.

D3

- Banged up Marvin for playing defense when we all know he isn't 100% and is going to get hurt again and I get that it's only D3 but why risk it.

D4

- Thomas Svoiski for throwing 5 picks.

D5

- Les Last Calls for playing the defense they did, allowing Luca to run as much as he did and for as many yards as he did and that's what cost you the game.

Women's

- I'm not putting anyone here this week. Call it what you will. (ed’s note: I call it blatant sexism!)

There you have it folks, my Studs & Duds for week 5. Remember if you want to see your name up here, then you need to show me that you need to be included on my list. And if you want to make my Dud list, just do what Saquon Barkley did on Monday night and drop that simple third and 3 pass to all but and the game and walk away with the win.

Last week Jon added an ed’s note (ed’s note: that’s me!) that I had Wolves #1 in D1, but losing that week. My rankings are based off what you have done up to this point. Just because I picked you to win or lose doesn’t mean I think you’re the better team sometimes it comes down to which roster players are there and who you might have as a sub.

Final Thoughts

My plan was to keep it under 2500 words, but before I got to my final thoughts I was already at 2497, so that wasn’t going to happen (ed’s note: and yet you chose to use up words writing that sentence).

I will keep it short, just like how long you would have lasted if you picked the Bengals in Survivor in week 1.

I can’t wait to get back out there this week, I’ll finally be able to tell the difference in teams now that I can see.

How do you think ND feels after being ranked #5, paying 1.5 million to NIU to play them and you get beat on a last second field goal. Can’t let that stuff happen (ed’s note: I sadly have to agree). Then you got Nebraska beating Colorado and them jamming out to perfect timing by Shedeur Sanders.

Speaking of Shedeur, Deion talks about turning boys into men, but his son is the biggest little whiner out there. Walking off the field and going to locker room with 2 minutes on the clock and not shaking the other team’s hand. I can tell you this, if I’m the coach he is getting at least half a game benching, but we all know this isn’t happening. Then Tyrek getting cuffed and thrown in jail just to come out an hour later and score a TD. After the game in questioning, he needed to quote NWA, but we know he don’t have the balls to do it.

Before I let you go for the week remember, that we are playing a game and all this childishness is too much. If you can’t get along, stay away from everyone, play your game, and go home. People yelling, screaming, and throwing punches is not what we want in the MFL. Calm down, play your game, have fun, and take it easy.

Have a good rest of the week. I know I will since I’ll be seeing my Sunshine tonight and most of you on Saturday.

Word from the Mouth: 20-0! edition

Word from the Mouth: 20-0! edition

Another week down and once again it was raining, cold, and by the end of the day the field was trashed (ed’s note: it really wasn’t that bad!). At least they are getting the week off since all games are at Le Ber this weekend. I don’t want to ruin it, but it looks like it will be nice this weekend, and yes, it’s only Monday and things could change by the weekend.

I get that we are playing football, and everyone thinks they are king buckaroo, but everyone needs to tone it the jeepers down. It’s bad when I must be the voice of reason. I have no filter and say and do whatever the cheese and crackers I want to when I want and no one is going to stop me, but when I’m out on the field playing the game I love, I want to have fun and enjoy myself and not have to worry balderdash is going to go down.

You also must know what you are doing and to whoyou are doing it to (ed’s note: if you think Kevin actually wrote “whom” and that wasn’t an edit, you must be among the fortunate few who haven’t met Kevin). I can tell you in all the years I’ve played sports, never once have I gotten into it with another player because I never wanted to get kicked out or miss any games. The season is too short for that phooey. People need to think about what might happen depending on how they react.

The other night while out with Sunshine some fart knocker in a Mercedes parked touching my bumper and didn’t allow me to move out, so after a few minutes of mucking around in the car by using my shirt on my bumper I was able to get out without marks on my car. Can’t say I didn’t add some to his car, but that’s a him problem and maybe they will learn not to be a dick when parking.

Recap

D1

Sorry folks, I didn’t catch either of the games played this week.

D2

Phoenix vs Double Dippers (20-21) OT

What can I say other than I’m trash and should have won this game? We always talk about 2 halves of a game and how easily things can change. In the first half, Double Dippers dropped numerous fourth down balls that would have kept the drive going, but instead they were turnovers. PO should have had an easy pick 6, instead he bobbled it a few times and with my receiver turning around looking for the ball it fell into his hands and he gained 15 yards on the play. It was one of those games where everything went one teams way. When the second half started, Phoenix was up 20-0 and looked to hold on for what looked like an easy victory. Well, David and Double Dippers had other plans. They didn’t do anything special in the second half, but the 5-yard hooks were turned into 10-yard gains because Phoenix was playing soft defense making them use the clock. After scoring on 3 of 4 possessions in the second half, Double Dippers needed to get a 2-point convert to tie it at 20. We knew what was coming, but with David flooding the zones the defender went too deep into the endzone which allowed Simon to find a hole. OT here we go. Phoenix started on offense and after a miscommunication, the convert was no good and this gave David the chance to find Mason coming across the goal line for the game winning point in OT.

Phoenix vs Tigres (22-19)

Do you believe in miracles because no way Phoenix should have won this game with the roster that they had. This game was played in the pouring rain, and you’d figure that Nestor would use his legs and control the game. For Phoenix, the plan was to control the tempo and not force any bad balls the longer the game was close the better chance we would have to win. The play of the game was when Zach flagged Nestor for a safety in the first half after we scored, and this left time for Phoenix to go down and score to take a 15-6 half time lead. In the second half Tigres made it a 1 score game with 7 minutes left. Now it was time for Kevin to chew the clock and not do anything stupid. With 2 minutes left we were called for rusher interference and with it being third down I called my play, and everyone was like we need yards and I said I’m find with throwing an incomplete pass and punting on fourth with 1 second left in the game. I’m behind center I’m scanning the defense looking for a matchup I like. I see JP who is tall vs a much shorter defender. I call for the snap look right comeback left where I launch it to the endzone where JP hauls it in along the sideline and inside the endzone. This gave Phoenix a 2-score lead and with under a minute the Win. Nestor was able to score after Felipe had a 40-yard catch and run then the drive was capped off with Nestor to Felipe for 7 yards. Game over after that.

D3

Iron Wolves vs Sour Puss (25-6)

This was a game that you could learn a lot. Jon ate every second of the clock on every play and this led to a very quick game being played. It also helped that they were in complete control of this game from the very beginning. Jon was able to find open players all game long on his way to completing 27 of his 33 passes. Carlos stood out to me for two reasons. One was that when given the opportunity, he can make some pretty sick catches and that yes, his offense has stepped up, but his flagging has taken a step back. He had to have missed 3 or 4 sacks and that might be low. Lucas and Fred, if they keep being reliable targets for Jonwill make it exceedingly difficult on defenses. This was the first Sour Puss game I did, and I was impressed by the way they kept it together they just lack experience and that’s what beat them in this game. Every time they were in third or fourth and short, Iron Wolves knew what was coming and had their players in the position to stop the play.

Turf Ninjas vs Top Shooters (45-18)

Before the game Mike asked me if he should pick up PO to play QB and my response was, who else you have to play QB? I tell him straight, if you want a shot at winning then go with PO, but if you want to have fun then go ahead and throw. He went with PO and they didn’t stand much of a chance, but they did have fun and Nigel is an absolute beast. The man had 6 catches for 159 yards and 3 TDs in the pouring rain. How no one in a higher division has picked him up yet is mesmerizing. This Turf Ninja team is loaded with playmakers all over the place. Mat isn’t the same Mat from Brossard last year, this guy has raised his completion percent while raising his TDs and dropping those picks. He should be under consideration for QB of the year if he keeps playing like this. I was talking about Nigel being a beast while in this game and so was Mikelis Rogers who also had 3 TDs and 159 yards receiving on 8 catches not 6. Mikelis might fly under the radar because of the other players around him don’t be fooled he is their best receiver.

D4

I was busy all day playing my games and working other games and missed out on D4 completely, maybe I’ll catch a game or 2 next weekend.

Phoenix vs PickSixers (48-6)

This wasn’t much of a game as Phoenix was able to get rolling right away and score at will. Kevin (ed’s note: the flipping between first and third person has to have something to do with the clear psychotic break that Kevin has had or is currently in progress of having) did a fantastic job of spreading the ball with everyone catching 3 passes and scoring at least 1 TD. The one area Phoenix needs to improve is on converts. For PickSixers they need to play the smart game and stop giving teams short fields all game long, punt the ball. On multiple occasions they went for it with no real shot at getting the first down. Brendan Melnik was their only saving point on defense as he was able to get 2 picks with both being inside the redzone. William needs to get rid of the ball a bit faster and try not throwing into the middle when there are multiple defenders around. I would also try to get the ball into the hands of my better players.

Women’s

Steeleuses vs Crazy B’s (40-0)

Branda Léonard was a below par QB when she played last season with Warriors, but this season she looks like a got dang superstar. She may have only completed 16 of her 32 passes, but they went for 253 yards and 6 TDs. Monica scored 3 TDs on her 4 catches and had 90 yards; her height made her unstoppable. On defense this team swarms to the ball to make tackles and this week they picked off 5 balls with Kelly leading the way with 3 tackles and 2 picks. Crazy Bs are a team that is all about having fun and that’s what they are doing. Zuzana struggles at QB for them, but its not all on her. She is new to the position her team isn’t loaded with athletes and most are still learning the game, but they are enjoying themselves and that’s what matters.

Most of the games I covered this week were very one-sided and not fun for anyone involved. I hate when teams run up scores and sometimes its being a jerk and sometimes what are you supposed to do? If a team turns the ball over on downs close to the endzone, what do you want me to do? Punt? Don’t I look more like an ass for punting on first down inside the redzone to lose yards (ed’s note: don’t worry, you’ll look like an ass regardless of what you do). I know you’re thinking why would you punt on first down. I’m not throwing 3 incomplete passes on purpose.

Studs & Duds

The last 2 weeks we have had some pretty malarkey weather, though not for all games, and this make it difficult for me to pick my Studs & Duds because if you played early you might have had good weather, where if you played late you played in rain and on mud. Well with that out there, let’s see who I selected for week 4.

Studs

D1

- Joey Notaro 6 tackles 2 picks and scored on 1 of them.

D2

- Ben Faubert 4 catches 65 yards, 3 TDs and he made 1 tackle and had 1 pick on defense in his first game. In game 2 he had 9 catches for 123 yards and 3 TDs plus he had 3 more tackles on defense.

D3

- Benjamin Denis 12 catches 110 yards and 3 TDs, plus 3 tackles on defense.

D4

- Brian Mustard 14 TDs in 2 games and only 3 picks thrown.

D5

- Nicolas Hurtuibise for winning all 3 games he played this weekend, throwing 4 TDs to 2 pick and getting 6 tackles, having 3 picks, and scoring on 1 of them.

Women’s

- Monica Roy 4 catches 90 yards and 3 TDs.

Duds

D1

- Everyone involved in the after-game altercation. Grow up, it’s a bleepin’ game, not the super bowl.

D2

- Kevin Kousaie for blowing a 20-point half time lead and losing the game in OT 21-20.

D3

- Mikelis Rogers for having 1 monster game and then not showing up on the stat sheet for the other game.

D4

- Simon Torres 1 for 15 with 3 picks and only 8 yards.

D5

- Kevin Kousaie for running up the score, even though we didn’t and only scored twice in the second half.

Women’s

- Zuzana Sichova for 5 picks thrown.

Good luck to everyone for next week. If you ball out you might get to see your name up here or take the other approach and suck bad and get on my list that way.
